Dallas and Donna Gurney took over Whananaki Holiday Park in September 2025.  They also own Whananaki General Store and its associated eateries.  Donna is currently secretary of the Whananaki Beach Residents & Ratepayers Association while Dallas mainly plays with his toy radio station Whananaki FM.

You'll see Kevin, Chris and Nicole around the camp all the time over summer.  They make up the rest of "Team Gurney" aiming to bring joy to holidaymakers from around the country and the world!  Kevin and Chris are Dallas' parents and Nicole is his favourite sister.
